CREATIVE PROCESS

Within the project scope, tasks included making the interior and cover design, as well as illustrating the book, for both print and digital formats.

ILLUSTRATIONS

They’re divided into two types: those reflecting chapter themes and those supporting explanations. Technical guidelines led to a minimalist approach, combining ink brush drawing with digital textures for a black-and-white interior and color cover.

INTERIOR DESIGN

With the illustrations finalized and the text in its completed form, I started creating the print layout in InDesign by setting up layouts for chapters, general pages, table of contents, etc. Font and style choices were made before integrating text and images.

Regarding the e-book format, the goal was to prepare the document for the Amazon platform. An important element was to provide the reader with a pleasant experience, offering the “text flow” option.

COVER

The cover design process encompassed several stages. Initially, the visual direction was defined. Subsequently, multiple cover proposals were generated, among which one was chosen.
